I.M. Skaugen’s main activity in the gas transportation sector is headed by Norgas Carriers, a company involved in the maritime transportation of petrochemical gases and LPG.

Other activities include fleet management, training of seafarers in own training center, crew management and transport of LPG in Chinese domestic waters.

I.M. Skaugen has a long history of transportation of gas stretching back to the early 80’ies and the formation of Norwegian Gas Carriers. The company was also a pioneer in opening up activities in China where the units involved in fleet management, seafarer training, crew management and domestic transportation of LPG are based.
